Concord Kitchen Remodel

This Concord kitchen remodel completely transformed a closed-off layout into a bright, functional space designed for everyday living and entertaining. The homeowners wanted to open up the wall, improve flow, and create a central gathering point. That ultimately lead to the addition of a spacious, multi-functional island.

What started as a straightforward remodel quickly evolved into a more personalized design experience. After reviewing samples at home, the clients decided to incorporate three distinct cabinet colors, adding depth and visual interest throughout the kitchen. The result is a warm, layered look that feels both custom and inviting.

Thoughtful Design Details That Make a Difference

By removing the wall and introducing a large island, the kitchen now serves as the heart of the home. The new layout improves sightlines, increases usable workspace, and creates a seamless connection between the kitchen and dining areas.

During the in-home design process, small lifestyle details inspired meaningful upgrades. Noticing everyday items like dog bowls and a family calendar near the sample area led to the addition of a custom message center. A practical feature that keeps the kitchen organized while blending beautifully into the cabinetry.

This is where great design goes beyond aesthetics, creating a kitchen that truly works for how the homeowners live.

This Concord kitchen remodel features:

    • Schrock Cabinetry – Inglis Door Style
    • Paint Finishes: Steam and Retreat
    • Wood Species: Maple
    • Stain: Buckskin

The combination of painted and stained cabinetry creates contrast while maintaining a cohesive, high-end look. The island serves as a focal point with its distinct color, complemented by perimeter cabinetry that balances warmth and brightness.
